About Us

Ord Locker is a custom-exempt meat processing facility located on the northwest side of Ord, NE. The business was purchased in 2015 by the VanDeWalle family, at a location closer to downtown Ord, and the new facility was built in 2020 on the northwest edge of Ord. Ord Locker began under new ownership with just a small staff and has grown to now employ 15-20 employees, for both custom processing of beef and pork, and to stock and run a specialty retail meat and goods market.

Ace & Jessica VanDeWalle & Ida VanDeWalle

Ace & Jessica VanDeWalle, and Ida VanDeWalle continue to run and manage the daily operations of the facility as it moves forward into different markets and reaches new customers.  While we do employ several fantastic individuals, you can also expect to see us when you visit or call our facility.  

Ord Locker’s goal is to serve the local producers and families seeking to purchase beef and pork in bulk, as well as offer products and specialty items in smaller quantities to daily retail customers.
